Ravano Green Power wishes to exploit its 10 years’ experience in cogeneration acquired through the construction and the management of the Bardonecchia (20 MW) power station.
Furthermore, the utilization of wood for the production of energy reduces the problem of the utilization of the wood wastes and the
cleaning of the forests.
Thanks to the incentive system issued by the 2008 Italian Financial Act, which rewards particularly the power plants fed by biomass originated from the supplying chain (growth within 70 Km from the power plant), Ravano Green Power is evaluating the opportunity to build in five years around 3MW of power plants fed by wooden biomass.
Ravano Green Power's biomass power plants will produce electricity and hot water which can be sold trough a district heating network.
