THE COMPANY / MILESTONES 1981 Ravano Group was founded as Carbotrade S.p.A. – coal trading, LPG and natural gas distribution.1994 First investments in renewable energy : 7 hydroelectric plants constructed (7MW). 2000 Bardonecchia cogeneration plant constructed (20MWe – 45MWt). 2004 Power increased for 2 hydroelectric plants. 2006 The new Ravano Power Group was founded, with the aim to invest in renewable sources, with its subsidiary company Ravano Green Power. 2007 Ravano Green Power: structures its staff and its activities in order to develop, realize and manage its own plants exploiting sun, biogas, wind and water power. 2008 Ravano Green Power: EPC Contractor for Turnkey photovoltaic plants. 2009 Ravano Green Power : its turnover grew by 400% compared to 2008 2010 Ravano Green Power ends the year with: 20MW of photovoltaic systems build for third parties,10MW of powerplants owned by the Group, a production value of 42.000.000 €, a share capital increase by 1.000.000 € and fully paid-up, for a total of 2.000.000 € and a joint venture with CVA S.p.A., St. Denis (50% -50%), which has a wind project authorized in Val d'Aosta for 3 MW. 2011 Ravano Green Power installs 31MW of photovoltaic systems for third parties and is responsible for maintenance for a capacity of 12MW photovoltaic plants. The Group owns 16MW of power plants (solar, biogas, wind and hydro). The year will close with a production value for the construction of photovoltaic systems for third parties amounted to € 44 million. |
